Public Question Time
Mr Fernley Chambers spoke saying how unhappy he was at the way the allocation process for the properties at Goldfinch Close, Wainhouse Corner had been dealt with. The properties were supposed to be for people in the Parish of Jacobstow first and after that adjoining parishes. This didn’t happen people from further afield were allocated properties. Mr Alec le Grand attended the meeting to inform parishioners that he had purchased land at Blagdon and is hoping to build an equine and animal rehabilitation yard that will be closed to the public except by appointment but would not only provide employment opportunities in the area but would allow him to keep the land as grass.
