Minutes of Meeting held on 5th July, 2022

1. Attendance

   Cllr. Charmaine Smith chaired the monthly meeting with Cllrs. P Chapman, I Franklyn, N Osborne, S Smith, A Vogel, J Shepherd, and County Cllr. Nicky Chopak attending

2. Declaration of Interest/Dispensations

   Cllr. Chapman declared an Interest in Item 8a) on the Agenda.

3. Minutes

   The minutes of the previous meeting were Emailed to Councillors agreed and signed as necessary.

4. Balance at Bank

   It was reported that the balance at the Bank is £10,927.09 in the Current A/C and £1,317.03 in the Primrose A/C.

5. Accounts to pay

   Mrs M Cowling - (Internal Audit) £50.00
   Cllr. P Chapman Seconded Cllr. N Osborne
   As a new Internal Auditor is required for next year Miss K Smith was suggested.

6. Cornwall Council

   Cornwall Council had approved Planning Application PA22/02738 - New Witheven, Jacobstow.

7. Planning Application PA22/04863

   Land South of Hele Barton, Week St. Mary – To erect a general purpose agricultural building. Councillors support this Application.

8. Councillor matters

   1. Clerk to contact the Parish Hall committee regarding parking outside the Hall at school arrivals and leaving times. It was suggested either a notice be put up to say ‘No Parking’ between 8.30 - 9.15am and 2.45 – 3.30pm or maybe cones put there for these times.
   2. It was reported that road direction signs need replacing. The one to Hendra on the road to Canworthy Water and the one to Jacobstow on the Highway hill road. Cllr.Chapak will report this.
   3. Cllr. Chopak also looking into the Leopolooza Licencing terms.
   4. Clerk to ask the Bude website if they can set up Emails under gov.uk for all Councillors

As there was no further business the meeting closed at 8.00pm.
