Jacobstow Village, Cornwall

Welcome to the Jacobstow Village web site.

This site has been designed to give you a brief introduction to the village and also point you in the right direction for any organisation, club or volunteer group in the village you may be interested in. The village lies just off the A39, approximately half way between Camelford and Bude and about five minutes drive from the beach at Crackington Haven - you can hear the sea on still nights! The Norman church of St James lies in the middle of the village and we also have two other churches within our boundaries. As we are in a rural situation the views and walks in and around the village are outstanding.

We are a small community with a lot of support from various sections of the village for different interests, as you can see from the navigation keys on the side of this home page. Contact details are included in the information, so please feel free to get in touch.

UPCOMING EVENTS

April will hopefully be kind to us and bring a nice spell of weather we can get out and enjoy.

Don't forget the walking group if you fancy a nice stroll and natter. If the weather is bad, why not pop up to the pub and check out the library, nothing nicer than spending time with a good book and a cuppa.

We have a couple of events this month, it would be lovely to see you and have your support:

The Jubilee Club are off to Rosemoor Gardens on the 11th of the month, see page 29 of your Journal for details to book.

The Church are holding an afternoon concert on the 29th, it starts at 4pm and is followed by refreshments in the Parish Hall. All proceeds will go to the Church fund.

Check out your Journal page 21 for the full list of events, activities and clubs for inspiration.

If you have anything you want included in the next Journal June/July, please contact us, all our details are in the Journal.
